Concept Vehicle Conversions Ltd runs this website. This page explains what information the site collects about you, what we use it for, and how to get in touch about it. If anything here is unclear, ask us: our phone number and email address are on this page.

What we collect, and why

When you send us an enquiry

The contact form, the enquiry form on each van for sale, and the “Build your own conversion” tool all end with a form. When you send one, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, your message, and, from the build tool, the configuration you put together.

We use it to reply to you and to follow up on what you asked about. That is the only reason we collect it. Your enquiry is stored in a database that runs this website, and a copy is emailed to our team so someone can pick it up. We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any sale that follows, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

We do not send marketing emails, and we will not add you to a mailing list because you enquired.

When you browse the site

We ask before we do this. When you first arrive, a banner asks whether we may use Google Analytics; nothing analytics-related loads and no analytics cookie is set unless you say yes, and the site works exactly the same if you say no. Your answer is remembered in your browser’s own storage rather than in a cookie, and you can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

If you accept, Google Analytics tells us how the site is used: which pages people visit, how they arrived, roughly where they are (country or town, never an address) and what kind of device they use. It sets cookies on your device to tell one visit from the next. It does not tell us who you are. We use it to see what is working on the site and what is not. Google explains how it handles this data at policies.google.com/privacy. You can also block these cookies in your browser settings, or with Google’s own opt-out add-on.

The site is delivered by Cloudflare, which handles every request and, like any web host, processes your device’s IP address to serve the pages and keep the site safe. Cloudflare’s privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. The videos on the tutorials page are streamed from Vercel’s storage, which sees the same request details when a video plays.

The build tool also keeps a simple tally of how far people get through it: how many times each step was reached and how many builds were sent, as a total for each day. It stores nothing on your device and records nothing about you, so it cannot tell one visitor from another, and it works the same whether or not you accept analytics cookies.

Links to other sites

The site links to our Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp, to our finance and tracker partners, and to Ply Lining Supplies. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you are on them.

Cookies

The only cookies this site sets are the Google Analytics ones described above, and only if you accept them. Decline and the site sets no cookies at all. The enquiry forms and the build tool work without cookies either way.

Who else sees your information

We do not sell your information or pass it to anyone for marketing. It is handled by the companies that run the systems behind this site, only so far as they need to in order to run them: Cloudflare (hosting and the enquiry database), Google (analytics), Resend (which delivers the enquiry email to our inbox) and Vercel (video storage). Our website is built and maintained for us by GSD Lab, who may see enquiry records while looking after the site.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@conceptvehicleconversions.co.uk and we will deal with it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this page

If we change what the site collects, we will update this page and the date at the top.
